        5. Kosta Josifidis was born in 1953. He worked at Novi Sad University as a full professor, teaching macroeconomics, European integration, EU macroeconomics, economics and EU economics. During his university career, he has published a number of textbooks, monographs and papers on macroeconomic theory and policy, international finance, methodology of economics, political economy of transition, globalisation and European economy.

          In addition to his rich experience and membership in international professional associations, Mr Josifidis discharges a number of significant functions.

          He is a member of the Presidency and Executive Board of the Association of Economists of Serbia and president of the Association of Economists of Vojvodina. In addition, he was a member of the National Bank of Serbia’s Council and the National Bank of Serbia’s Council of the Governor (2006–2011).
