          As ‘Cowboy’ Jack Lanza, he was a territorial babyface that found success in the Indianapolis territory, run by Wilbur Snyder and Dick the Bruiser.

          In December 1967, he became the territory’s champion defeating Snyder, and held it until August 1969 losing to Dick the Bruiser.
